1916-S 50C MS64 PCGS. Bruce Fox (1993) writes that the 1916-S tends to be weakly struck on the hand and on Liberty's head. The near-Gem in this lot is an obvious exception, as Liberty's thumb and the adjacent branches are well detailed, as is her head. Whispers of golden-brown and reddish-gold toning adhere to lustrous silver-gray surfaces, especially at the borders. A higher grade is precluded by a few minute marks on Liberty's left leg.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
