<B>1916-S $20 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1916-S double eagle was very scarce until a hoard of 4,000 Mint State examples was discovered in South America some time in 1983 (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). The Premium Gem presented here displays glowing luster and rich peach-gold color.
