<B>1916-S 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS.</B></I> As the 1916-S was a first-year issue, like the 1916-P, it was saved in substantial numbers. More than 10 million were minted, and unlike the 1916-D with a mintage of only 264,000 pieces, there was a greater opportunity to actually encounter 1916-S dimes and set them aside. This is one of the finest certified. The surfaces are mostly brilliant and show the expected bright mint luster. The central bands are deeply split and each side is free from any noticeable abrasions.
