1916-S<10C> MS66 PCGS. In all Gem grades from MS65, the 1916-S Barber Dime has about 1/5th the population of the 1916 Philadelphia issue, but the mintage is only about 1/3rd of the '16-P. This example is highly lustrous with frosty silver surfaces, the obverse dusted with hazy gold and iridescent toning, the reverse brighter with splashes of golden-brown color. With this lot, the offering of Barber Dimes from the Dr. Steven L. Duckor Collection comes to a close. Hopefully, everyone with an interest in any of these coins has been able to acquire one or more examples. Population: 8 in 66, 0 finer (11/05).
From the Collection of Dr. Steven L.
