<B>1916-P:</B></I> An attractive (Above Average) carving by another unknown artist. The derby on this subject is low-crowned with a plain hatband, and the ear is partially tucked up underneath the straight, slightly raised metal brim. Nicely presented hair, beard, and moustache, and an altered profile with a punched nostril and eye. Downward curved mouth, suggesting sadness. The field surrounding the subject is nicely and completely dressed, with LIBERTY missing.
