1916 McCall & Coolidge Massachusetts Governor Campaign Poster. 12.5" x 10", framed and matted under glass to an overall size of 19.25" x 16.75", issued by the Republican Club of Massachusetts, Boston, 1916. Features portraits of Samuel W. McCall and Calvin Coolidge with the title "Elect These Men". The men were successful in their bid for Governor and Lt. Governor and Coolidge succeeded McCall as Governor in 1919. This was yet another step in Coolidge's ultimate political climb to President. This is a beautiful piece virtually free from defects and attractively presented in a modern gilt wood frame. Campaign items from Coolidge's campaign for Lt. Governor are rarely encountered, and this poster is far more significant than the varieties of coat-tail posters one encounters from 1920 and 1924. We do not recall ever seeing this variety before.

Shipping: Framed (view shipping information)
