<B>1916 G$1 McKinley MS66 NGC.</B></I> The final mintage of the 1916 McKinley is estimated at about three times that of the 1917, based on the original mintage less the unsold pieces returned to the Mint and the estimates of those melted of each date. But based on the current combined NGC and PCGS certified population, the ratio of survivors appears more like 63:37 rather than 75:25. This example offers honey-gold surfaces with frosty luster and a bold strike.
