1916-D 5C MS66 PCGS. Unlike many Denver Mint nickels, this piece has remarkably sharp design details with only trivial weakness on the Indian's hair and the bison's head. Both sides have full frosty luster with brilliant nickel-gray color on the obverse, accented by faint peripheral gold toning. The reverse is entirely pale gold in color with coruscating luster beneath the toning. While considered a common date among coins of the Colorado Mint, this date is a condition rarity in top grades. In fact, NGC and PCGS have never graded a finer quality piece. An excellent opportunity for the Set Registry collector. Population: 9 in 66, 0 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
