1916-D 10C MS63 PCGS. As coin collecting expanded to reach the masses in the 1960s and 1970s, even the novice quickly learned to recognize the keys to the most popular designs. Issues such as the 1877 Indian, the 1909-S VDB Lincoln, and the 1916 Standing Liberty appeared on an ever-increasing number of wish lists. Among Mercury dimes, the 1916-D gained similar notoriety and its status as the foremost key to the series has only been enhanced through the years. Offered here is a blazing white, untoned example that, while typically well struck, does not quite possess full definition on the horizontal crossbands. A short, diagonal blemish at the center of Liberty's cheek limits the grade. For a rock solid Uncirculated example of this popular key without the additional expense of a higher graded piece or Full Bands detail, look no further.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
