<B>1916 5C PR65 NGC.</B></I> A solidly graded Gem. The otherwise silver-tinged surfaces reveal suggestions of champagne-gold iridescence at a few isolated angles. The strike is razor-sharp throughout; David Lange (2000) writes that "... all proof dies for 1916 were sunk from the new obverse hub featuring a much bolder LIBERTY."
