Military travel permit issued to Herbert D. Vaughan of Kingstown, Co. Dublin to allow him and his wife to travel to Dublin via Stillorgan on a motorcycle and sidecar from the 2nd until the 5th of May 1916. With the stamp of the headquarters of the 59th (North Midland) Division of the British Army who were sent to Dublin to quell the Rebellion. Also with another similar travel permit giving Herbert Vaughan permission to travel to County Meath. (2 items)
