<B>1916<25C> MS62 PCGS.</B></I> Each side offers a light silver-gold cast, with the obverse adding a light patina in hues of russet and ice-blue near the lower border. Bold luster emanates from beneath the light color. This example shows a bit of strike weakness on the shield highpoints as well as the head, and on the eagle's breast. However, the overall eye appeal is considerable. This is nonetheless a lovely Mint State example of this, a key date in a popular series as well as a key 20th century first-year type coin. In many series, specifically those that have been overlooked in the hot market of recent years, MS62 and MS63 coins appear to offer good value at a reasonable price. Perhaps this is such a coin.
