<B>1916 25C MS61 Full Head NGC.</B></I> This is the first issue of the Standing Liberty quarter series struck during a transitional year at the end of the previous Barber era. A splendid Mint State example with satiny silver luster and mottled gold toning, somewhat lighter on the reverse. This piece is sharply struck with excellent definition that fully represents nearly every aspect of Hermon MacNeil's design for this popular series, with the intricate reverse details especially well brought up.
