<B>1916 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> While the 1916 proof cent has a recorded mintage of 1,050 pieces, it is challenging for a collector to locate a nice example, and even tougher to find one with any significant amount of original red coloration. The presently offered example features the razor-sharp strike that is typical of matte proofs, but also has lots of beautiful red color, especially on the reverse.
