We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
Beautiful example of this very sought after issue. The Panama-Pacific half dollar is among the most highly regarded of all U.S. commemoratives. Adding to its appeal are the many “firsts” associated with the issue. Pan-Pac halves were the first commemorative coins to depict Columbia (Columbian Exposition halves used a representation of Christopher Columbus) and the first to carry the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. They were also the first commemoratives struck at a branch mint. As such, Pan-Pac halves are a fitting tribute to two of the more memorable accomplishments of that era: the engineering wonder of the Panama Canal and San Francisco’s successful rise from the ashes of 1906. When examining a pan pac half dollar friction is first evident on Columbia's shoulder and on the eagle's breast. Coin World's Coin Values lists ms65 at $2500 and The Wholesale Greysheet lists ms65 at $2000. Estimated Value $2250
