<B>1915-S G$1 Panama-Pacific Gold Dollar MS65 PCGS.</B></I> One of five Panama-Pacific coin types struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1915 to commemorate the opening of the Panama Canal. This Gem gold dollar displays peach-gold surfaces that are imbued with tints of light green and a blush or two of deeper orange. Impeccably preserved and sharply struck. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece for $3.00 from E.K. Washburn on December 1935. A hobby envelope with the notes "1915 $1.00 unc Panama Pacific E.K.
