1915-S 5C MS66 PCGS. The mintage of Buffalo nickels at the San Francisco Mint amounted to just 1.5 million coins in 1915. The striking quality of these pieces varies from mediocre to excellent, and even sharply struck examples will typically grade below the MS65 level. Coins that combine crisp striking detail with virtually pristine surfaces, such as the present representative, are rare. All features are fully detailed, except for the letters of LIBERTY. With no distracting carbon to report and a satiny, medium olive-gold sheen, this high-end coin is well qualified for inclusion in an advanced Buffalo nickel collection. Population: 26 in 66, 3 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
