<B>1915-S 5C MS65 NGC.</B></I> The strike and luster are uncommonly strong for this often-mediocre issue, and the pink-accented yellow-orange patina that graces both sides greatly enhances the overall eye appeal. By 1915, few individuals saved new Buffalo nickels as a matter of course, and between the low mintage of just over 1.5 million pieces, the often-weak strike, and the low Mint State survival rate, a sharp Gem such as the present piece is an elusive find.
