1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS65 PCGS. A great coin design will make its way into production, even if the process takes decades. Like the Laura Gardin Fraser designs for the quarter dollar that later became a half eagle commemorative, George T. Morgan's Defiant Eagle reverse, observed on silver patterns in 1877 and 1878, made its way to the Panama-Pacific quarter eagle in 1915. This well struck and carefully preserved yellow-gold Gem has powerful luster and glints of emerald on the obverse. A small depression appears on the neck of the hippocampus, though that is as made.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
