1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS65 NGC. The mythological-allegorical obverse design was one of Charles Barber's last works for the Mint; as such, it has been derided by numerous critics, most of whom focus on the concept rather than the workmanship. This lustrous yellow-gold example has a touch of amber at the periphery. Columbia's face and the eagle's legs have a touch of softness, but the lack of distracting marks redeems the grade.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
