1915-S $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1915-S Eagle is one of the important key-date issues in this series. Just 59,000 were coined, and those that survive are apt to be noticeably circulated. Any Mint State coin is elusive. Most of this issue entered circulation, being turned in when the gold recall took place in 1933. After that, the coins would have been melted into gold bars and forever lost to the numismatic community. Although the surfaces are lightly abraded, this piece is a splendid Mint State example with excellent luster and rich yellow-gold color. Population: 29 in 63, 25 finer (10/06).
From The Dr. Eugene Cherny Collection of $5 and $10 Indians.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)

Important
