1915 California Native Gold-Washed Ingot. 1.075 Ounces. This gold plated, small-sized ingot was issued as a commemorative item for the Panama-Pacific Exposition, as indicated by the 1849-1915 dates. There may have been an actual gold ingot this and the other two known washed ingots are modeled after as the value of $30.55 makes no sense otherwise. Four scratches on the back side are obvious test cuts--just in case it might be an actual gold ingot. The top side reads: 1849 1915 / CALIFORNIA / NATIVE / GOLD / WASHED / $30.55 1075/1000 OZ.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
