1915 50C PR66 NGC. The Philadelphia Mint half dollars coined in 1913, 1914, and 1915 are all low mintage dates that are considered key-date issues in business strike, thus collectors often turn to these proofs to represent the three dates in their cabinet. Fewer proofs were coined in 1914 and 1915 than in any earlier year since 1892, just 380 and 450 pieces respectively. This Premium Gem has fully brilliant silver surfaces with deeply mirrored fields and reflective devices, essentially void of cameo contrast. A few microscopic hairlines on the obverse prevent a higher grade. Census: 20 in 66, 16 finer (1/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
