<B>1915 $5 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The incuse design intended to protect the devices on Indian quarter and half eagles had the unintended consequence of exposing the fields to heavy marks, and even Select examples of such pieces are elusive across most issues. This gorgeous Choice piece has clean surfaces in distinctive colors. The lustrous fields on both sides are predominantly carrot-orange, while a lavender-infused band appears at the obverse margins.
