<B>1915-24 Official National League Baseball in Box.</B></I> Far more rare than signed baseballs dating from the game's transition from Dead Ball to Live Ball is the unsigned sphere, so we're pleased to present one for you here. Lack of presidential stamping prohibits us from narrowing the range of dates, but suffice it to say that this is the model used by the likes of Rogers Hornsby, G.C. Alexander and Ross Youngs. Light wear to the ball is evident, but it's unclear if it is from game action or just the natural aging process. Included is the even more scarce original cardboard box, somewhat crushed and creased but still solid and complete.
