1915 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1915 twenty dollar, with its mintage of 152,000 business strikes, is readily obtainable in grades up through MS64. MS65 coins are a challenge to acquire, as evidenced by the 75 pieces graded by PCGS and NGC. Neither service has seen any examples finer.
A delicate mix of variegated peach-gold and mint-green patina covers radiantly lustrous surfaces, and a well executed strike brings out nice detail on the design features. For example, Liberty's fingers and toes are delineated, as are the panes in the Capitol building and the eagle's plumage. A few minute grade-consistent marks are noted. Population: 31 in 65, 0 finer (7/07).

Coin Engraver: Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
