1915 $20 MS64 PCGS. The war in Europe halted most demand for double eagles from Philadelphia, and 1915's emission of 152,000 pieces would be the last from that Mint for five years. This satiny yellow-orange example is well struck with occasional hints of alloy in the fields. Minimally marked and attractive. PCGS has graded 31 finer pieces (3/08).

Coin Engraver: Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
