<B>1915 $10 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Many survivors hail from this issue's original mintage of 351,000 examples, and of the pieces certified by NGC and PCGS, an astounding 75% are in Mint State, according to statistics from Garrett and Guth (2006). Yet Gems remain elusive, even if such pieces are common compared to those of other Saint-Gaudens eagle issues. The present example has glowing yellow-gold surfaces with occasional apricot accents and minimal marks. Solid detail and an attractive overall appearance are strong points in its favor.
