<B>1914 University of Nebraska Football Blanket.</B></I> Fine artifact from the collegiate gridiron derives from the family of Paul Shields, who served as a member of the Cornhuskers' unbeaten 1914 squad. This gorgeous letterman's blanket unfurls to just over five by six feet in size, though its desirability to fans of this Big Twelve powerhouse cannot be measured. The graphic appeal is hard to dismiss, with football and corn imagery, and Shields' name prominently displayed with the team's logo "N." Condition is remarkably fine for a piece of this advanced vintage, though this is the first we've seen in any state whatsoever.
