<B>1914-S $5 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> An important opportunity is presented to the advanced collector as this date is clearly a condition rarity in the Indian half eagle series. Few have been graded at this modest level, and even fewer have received a higher grade. The mintage of 263,000 coins does not immediately suggest the rarity of the date. However, the number that have survived is limited due to immediate circulation after they were minted. This piece is nicely detailed and fully lustrous with rich honey-gold color and delightful satin surfaces.
