1914-S $10 MS63 PCGS. While not the rarest S-mint Indian Eagle, the 1914-S is still an important issue that is equally as elusive as the 1910-S and 1912-S. With most Uncirculated survivors grading no finer than BU, this Select quality representative should see spirited bidding at auction. Uncommonly lustrous for an S-mint Indian Eagle from this era, the surfaces are satiny with faint, yet perceptible cartwheel effects that are more evident on the reverse. The color is a deep reddish-gold shade, and the Mint-made depression over the lower obverse before and over the date is characteristic of many 1911-S, 1913-S, and 1914-S Eagles. There are no singularly bothersome handling marks, and the eye appeal is solid. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
