<B>1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The first D-mint quarter eagles since 1911 typically show some weakness, as here, on the lower headdress feathers. The luster is far above average, however, approaching brilliance despite the typical fine-grained, mattelike surfaces. Some slight planchet roughness on the jawline appears to be a small unstruck area.
