<B>1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1914-D quarter eagle is generally available through the near-Gem level, but MS65 coins are a real challenge, and higher-grade specimens are virtually unobtainable. This MS64 example displays pretty apricot-gold and mint-green coloration and pleasing luster. Sharp definition is visible on the bonnet feathers, and on the eagle's leg and shoulder, areas that are frequently softly defined on this issue.
