1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 NGC. While some dealers and collectors tend to downplay the semi-key status of the 1914-D, it is actually both a strike rarity as well as a condition rarity. The condition rarity of this issue is explained by the numerous marks that are usually seen over each side. This, of course, keeps most '14-D quarter eagles out of the higher grade ranges. Additionally, most examples are softly defined in the centers. This particular coin has no obvious or distracting marks and the striking details are well, but not fully defined. Rich reddish tinged patina covers each side of this lustrous example.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
