<B>1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 NGC.</B></I> Ex: Seminole Collection. For a common issue, the difficulty of acquiring an example escalates dramatically as one ascends the grading scale. Rather common in MS62 and available for a price in MS63. Near-Gems such as the present example are elusive, and Gems are second only to the 1911-D in terms of difficulty. This lustrous piece is straw-gold and has nice detail. The mustard-orange surfaces have several copper spots on the bonnet.
