<B>1914-D $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The 1914-D quarter eagle frequently comes softly struck. Indeed, Paul Taglione (1986) writes that: "... locating a uniformly and well struck 1914-D is not an easy task." This specimen displays an above-average strike. Most of the obverse feathers are well brought up, as are most of those on the eagle. The mintmark is bold, as are the remaining peripheral elements.
