<B>1914-D 1C MS65 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> The central reverse and much of the left obverse remains Red, while dusky sea-green and rose toning grace the right obverse and the reverse periphery. A satiny and attentively struck example of this series key, which is much tougher in Gem than the lower mintage 1909-S VDB and 1931-S. Struck from moderately rotated dies.
