<p>Rare Cezanne Authentic 1914 Engraving on Velin - This is NOT an offset copy or re-strike edition! Paul Cezanne b.1839 Helioengrave, titled ' , croquis au crayon (pour le tableau du musee de Munich) ' with tissue guard with printed title!</p>
<p>The impressions are strong and even, 12 3/8" X 9 5/8", The Condition is Remarkably clean, slight foxing to the outer margins, very near-fine overall. The Verso is clean.

<p>Edition Size: Number (justification) from an edition of 350 (151 - 351). Copy of the Justification du Tirage (publisher COA) included.
<p> At the turn of the century Ambroise Vollard was the most renowned art dealer of his time. He discovered such artists as Cezanne, Matisse and Vlaminck to name only a few. The Vollard estate holds the copper plates used for the original engravings. These Cézanne heliographs are unknown where they exist from date of July 1, 2003. Original copies are now priceless. In 1986 the Vollard estate began work on a reissue of the prints.
