Nickels 1914 Mint State 65. <b>Gleaming nickel-bright luster with tinges of pale blue and subtle champagne gold. A gem of the first class, a thing of beauty, this being the second year of issue for James Earl Fraser's masterful Indian Head/Buffalo Nickel design. (The beast on the reverse had a name, in case you weren't aware, he was called "Black Diamond" and lived at the New York Central Park Zoo.) Fraser did a composite of three native American chiefs for his obverse portrait. It is only the second realistic depiction of an Indian on American coinage after the 1908-29 gold pieces.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
