<B>1914 5C PR67 NGC.</B></I> Splashes of delicate rose and lilac patina adorn both sides of this seemingly impeccable and intricately detailed specimen. When the design of the nickel changed from the Liberty Head to Fraser's Indian Head, the style of proofs changed as well and followed the example of the cent, though the grainy finish proved unpopular and the years from 1917 to 1935 saw no nickel proofs.
