<B>1914<50C> PR65 NGC.</B></I> This faintly toned piece has a cameo reverse, although the portrait lacks sufficient frost to achieve a Cameo designation. The strike is good, and the fields and cheek exhibit few hairlines. The proof mintage for the 1914 Barber half is only 380 pieces. One can only imagine what a modern Mint special-finish issue with a similar mintage would trade for. Census: 34 in 65, 41 finer (9/06).<BR><I>Ex: Bowers and Merena, 11/01, lot 4165.</B></I>
