1914 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1914 double eagle is more than just a lower mintage issue, but a date that is always on want lists, always in demand. Original Mint records tell us that 95,200 of these coins were struck in Philadelphia during the year. That production figure ranks among inside the 10 lowest mintages for the entire series.
An amazing piece that ranks near the top of the census for the date. The surfaces have frosty yellow luster with a few tiny orange toning spots on each side. The few tiny surface marks that are present are mostly hidden in the devices. Population: 36 in 65, 3 finer (10/07).

Coin Engraver: Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
