1914 $20 MS65 PCGS. Ex: Brahin. A large hoard of this date was dispersed at the end of the last century, substantially increasing the overall population of this date, except in Gem quality. While the hoard coins were relatively pleasing, they were mostly in the lower Mint State grades from MS62 to MS64. The result is a date that is generally available in Mint State grades, but a condition rarity in Gem quality. This sharply struck Gem has fully brilliant light yellow-gold surfaces with frosty mint luster. A few minuscule surface marks, scattered across both sides, are typical of examples at this grade level, and prevent an even higher numeric designation. Population: 34 in 65, 3 finer (1/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
