1914 $20 MS64 PCGS. This alluring near-Gem displays soft, shimmering mint frost and elegant antique-gold and rose toning. A few superficial marks keep it from Gem status. This Philadelphia Mint issue was well produced, according to the Encyclopedia of U.S. Gold Coins 1795-1933, unlike the 1913 pieces which were weakly produced. Survivors are still rare any finer than MS64, however.

Coin Engraver: Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
