<B>1914 $2 1/2 MS63 NGC.</B></I> The 1914 has the second lowest mintage of the Indian Head quarter eagle series (240,000 business strikes). It is a condition rarity in Gem grades; even in lower Uncirculated grades this issue is a challenge. The MS63 example presented here displays bright luster and brass-gold patina with traces of light tan, and the design elements are well impressed.
