1913-S $5 MS62 PCGS. The 1913-S half eagle is frequently found with a poor strike, especially in the peripheral areas. The mintmark is normally quite mushy and lacks any central definition (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). This particular example indeed displays the ill-defined mintmark, that almost resembles an O. The remaining design features are well impressed, however. Both sides exhibit peach-gold patination. Census: 94 in 62, 30 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
