<B>1913-S $20 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> One of just 34,000 pieces struck, this lustrous, slightly hazy near-Gem is almost uniformly apricot-gold with none of the obvious copper spotting found on numerous examples of this issue. Well-defined with few marks and strong eye appeal. The collector who would purchase something better may have a long wait ahead; Garrett and Guth (2006) write that "fully struck MS64 coins can be obtained," but Gems are "very rare indeed."
