<B>1913-S $20 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> One of several issues that illustrate the theme among Saint-Gaudens double eagles that survival rates reign supreme, not mintages. Despite an original production run of only 34,000 pieces, the 1913-S is available to many collectors, while the 1927-D, with a mintage over five times that of the 1913-S, is not.
