1913-S $10 MS63 PCGS. The 1913-S, with a mintage of 66,000 pieces, is one of the rarest dates in the Indian Head eagle series. Most survivors are in the VF to AU grade range, and Uncirculated pieces in the MS60 to MS62 range are available with patience and searching. MS63 coins and better examples are elusive. The present MS63 displays bright luster and apricot-gold patina imbued with traces of light green. The design elements are sharply struck, as evident from the definition in the Indian's hair and headdress feathers and eagle's plumage. Close examination reveals no significant marks that are worthy of individual mention. In sum, this is a gorgeous specimen for the grade designation. Population: 19 in 63, 15 finer (10/06).
From The Dr. Eugene Cherny Collection of $5 and $10 Indians.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)

Important
