1913-D 5C Type Two MS67 PCGS. This first-year variant from the Denver Mint was produced to the extent of 4.1 million pieces. Examples are scarce in all grades with high grade survivors generally displaying far better definition than their Type Two counterparts from the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints. This particular representative is no exception in that regard, but it is uncommonly well preserved. Full mint luster shimmers across both sides with a smooth, satiny sheen. There are no blemishes of note, and the eye appeal is expectantly strong for the Superb Gem rating. NGC and PCGS combined report a mere six examples in MS67, and none are finer (1/03). Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
